Adam began his strength and conditioning career with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science with a concentration in Kinesiology from High Point University in High Point North Carolina. Prior to college, he had an extensive sports background with baseball and soccer. Continuing with his passion for sports he had an internship at Petty Enterprises in regards to coaching and training the pit crews and drivers for the NASCAR team.
Following graduation from High Point University, he continued his career as a tire changer in NASCAR (for 11 years) for several organizations including Petty Enterprises, Hendrick Motorsports, Ginn Racing, and Stewart Haas Racing while also developing his strength and conditioning skills as an assistant trainer. He then became head strength and conditioning coach for Ginn Racing and Stewart Haas Racing where he developed programming for all members of pit crews designed for each particular position.
While developing programming for pit crews he was also working in conjunction with The Huffines Institute at Texas A&M for physiological testing for research and objective measures in regards to his current programming for the race teams. In 2011, he had an integral part in winning the NASCAR Sprint Cup Championship by producing two of the best pit crews on pit road and helping Tony Stewart win his third championship.
While pursuing his career in NASCAR as a tire changer and strength and conditioning coach, he also began training at local CrossFit gyms and began utilizing some current CrossFit training models within his racing programs. He obtained his CrossFit Level 1 and 2 certifications. As a Strength and Conditioning Coach Adam puts a lot of emphasis on mobility where he pursued and received the Mobility certification with Kelly Starrett from MobilityWOD.com. He has also received his USA Weightlifting Level One and Two Coaches Certification with Daniel Camargo. He further developed his weightlifting coaching skills by pursuing Outlaw Barbell Coaching Certification with Jared and Dave Fleming. (*Outlaw Barbell is a patent Olympic Barbell programming that Adam Davis is the only Certified Coach in the state of FL)
Adam has also competed in several CrossFit competitions around the North Carolina area: Augusta Ga – Reindeer Games, Greensboro NC War of WODS, Asheville NC River Ruckus and here locally in FL: Rex Rumble, Ocala FL War on Wall Street Orlando FL and Wodapalooza Miami Fl. He has also competed in USAW Sanctioned events: Naples Winter Open, Naples FL, American Open 2, Sunrise FL, American Masters Championship, Savannah GA, North Miami Weightlifting Open, North Miami FL, Jacked Classic, North Miami FL, and American Open 3, Daytona Beach FL.
